I haven’t done this in a few weeks, but here are 4 articles that caught my attention this week that I thought I’d pass along:
If by The Minimalists. A short, inspirational piece about creating a mindset of change. Joshua and Ryan never cease to provide a kick in the pants to motivate me. Their website is one of the few blogs that I regularly peruse the archives of to reread articles. They’re that good.
The Secret Rule of Change by Leo Babauta (on Zen Habits). If you need a quick reminder about the importance of mindfulness, this one’s for you. The theme of change crept up a lot this week.
Buckshot vs Rifle Approach, again by Leo, on mnmlist. Focus is the key theme here, one that Leo has written extensively about in his free ebook, aptly titled Focus, which I highly recommend.
Finally, while I’m not entirely convinced, I have to admit that David over at Almost Bohemian has a thoroughly entertaining look at the benefits of giving up a traditional bed for a hammock.
I hope you enjoy these articles. I’d love to hear what you’ve been reading, around the web or otherwise. Please share in the comments below!

I see I’m in good company up there. Thanks for including me in your list!
The hammock gig can take a bit of getting use to, but once accomplished sure does feel good. I hope you give it a try. And if you do, let me know. Maybe we can do a feature on the conversion!

It’d make for a very fun 30 day experiment at the very least. Not sure about setting up a wall mount in my apartment though.
I bought a used backyard hammock stand from criagslist and it was great for my apt that I couldn’t drill into the walls. Maybe try for that!
